Welcome



My blood type is O+ and my shoe size is 10, so I am nothing special, but for a number of years, I felt a creative push from within, and found it rather surprising considering my wholesale disdain for 'the arts' in my younger years. Well, I couldn't beat it out of myself, so I embraced it and tried to foster a voice through various mediums, mostly through poetry, authorship of articles and a children's book, and photography.

I consider myself something of a paradox. I make my living in a square world, yet I garner my fun in circular ways - - friends, pursuing creative inspirations, and my pets. Oh, and I must tell you about my menagerie. Asylum is my rescue dog. He is truly a funny guy and full of spirit. I adopted him on Cinco de Mayo, 2008 from Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) in Northern Alberta. And then there are the lil babies... four (yes four!!) Boa Constrictors. There is Aphrodite (Aphro for short); Clovis, Sedna, and Ramses. Sedna was a rescue situation and she shows her appreciation by curling around my neck for a 'hug'.
